Crystal Blue Resort is located in Anilao Philippines and is known for the large abundance and variety of nudibranchs. Also gaining popularity is their black water night dives lead by Mike Bartick and many of the published black water photos have come from this resort. We found the resort to be comfortable and accommodating with exceptional service at all times. Food while was buffet style it definitely was restaurant grade, always ready and hot and had great flavor. They have a local fruit drink called 4 seasons that I became addicted to and was made up of 4 different fruits and blended just right for a smooth flavor. Individual camera stations were provided to each diver along with power strips and centrally located in the resort so you never had to worry about security. Dive shop was clean and always ready for our dive needs, boat crews did all the loading, unloading, setting up and even pulled your BCD into the boat so you never had to climb the ladder with heavy equipment. Daily after breakfast and before the first dive Mike Bartick would review any photos submitted for group review and then explain a technique to be tried for that day to expand our underwater photo abilities. This is a trip that is worth the travel and expense to get to and highly recommend the 10 day trips as 7 would be way to short for the full experience.
